GREEN SUMMER JOBS
The Greening of Detroit along with The Student Conservation Association, Johnson Controls Inc, and JP Morgan Chase are partnering to hire over 160 Detroit High School Students this summer to work outdoors in neighborhood parks, green spaces, and conservation projects.

If you are interested in exploring green careers and currently reside in Detroit, this opportunity may be for you. Applications must be completed online. Answer the questions on the back side of this flyer. 
Online Application will be available March 4, 2013 @ 4pm. Applicants will be limited to the first 300 applications.

Requirements:
1. Currently Enrolled in High School Student
2. Detroit Resident
3. Ages 15-18
4. Demonstrate satisfactory citizenship and a C– in each class by May 17th.
5. Must answer 4 short questions on back.
6. Must submit a letter of recommendation from one of the following at a tryout event April 6 or 13, 2013

How to Apply:
Please take some time to answer the four questions below, before you complete the online application. Your answers should be 3-5 sentences per answer. Make sure you have access to a computer with internet by 4 PM on March 4, 2013. The application process will close after the first 300 completed applications are received.

You will receive a letter in the mail by March 22, 2013 if your application was accepted.
